Chacma Baboons
In 2015 I worked on ZSL's Tsaobis Baboon Project in central Namibia. This project involved full day follows of habituated baboon troops across a challenging landscape. Most of the baboons were individually recognisable as a result of notches put into their ears and data was collected on behaviour and social interaction within the troops. It enabled me to act as a neutral observer of these chacma baboons as they went about their daily lives, allowing for some great photo opportunities.
